Starts sweet and relatively light, but it settles into a dark, heavy and dense oud. It is balsamic, powdery and sweet. I think its likely there is honey. I do think the balsams are more complex than just “balsams.” I think there is labdanum, maybe peru balsam and some incense too (frankincense or elemi if I had to wager a guess). Also some leathers.

At the stage where it turns darker, (mid to dry down I think), it could pass as “Tiger” by zoologist.

This smells like coffe; with biscuits and alcohol. It smells milkier than coffee though, not sweet enough for sweets, and too dilute to be alcohol. I imagine espresso with a lot of water, a shot of wine, and cookie soaked in that. Also worth smelling.

A less dense and less fruity of the version of night by Frederick Malle. Thai Oud shines through, but Indian was probably used too. It is very nice, I wont lie.

BEAUTIFUL opening Wow. It is chocolatey with some saffronic freshness. Best iteration of freshly made chocolate yet. There are some nice cherry facets to this. Not medicinal and not too sour. 9/10 for the cherry facets.

Despite that though, the base is boring with ambers and vanilla.

Smells like a mid gourmand

It started out pretty sweet and strong. Goes away calmer with fruits and a liquor undertone. It smells like the ideal version of red wine. Also unique; also phenomenal.

Fruity, sweet and peachy fragrance. This is definitely a “I’m her” or an “it girl” fragrance. Subtle, but wow. Actually wow. This could also be a “The girl from Ipanema” fragrance, which is a pretty high tier compliment from me.

White florals and citrus. The white florals are very strong and dominant in this fragrance. It feels they are complex, and I could bet that this includes tuberose, jasmine and some other stuff that also passes as white florals, such as magnolia, gardenia, lily of the valley and/or gardenia. I honestly do not know about orange blossom, but if there is some, then it is in minimum amount, as the smell is in no way soapy.

In fact, the smell is very milky in texture. It is that gentle feminine version of tuberose, rather than the carnal one we are so used to. Maybe has some cashmeran too.

Very good.

Smells like Smoking Hot by Kilian. Slightly worse though, I cant lie. It is not that this is bad, I just think that Smoking hot perfected the apple shisha, and there is no going up from there.

Woody and aromatic; an overgrown garden and air fresheners.

Intimate spell is pretty unique, it is like Amouage’s Decision in the way it is fresh, but then BOOM! Labdanum, incense, patchouli and myrrh(?). I also think that at some point I smelled some cypriol or turpentine. It was transient but an interesting addition.

This perfume is the one that is farthest from its name I think. It smells good, that much is for sure, but it certainly does not smell like shisha and not karak either. It is somewhere in between, being harsher, smokier, and less milky. It smells like how a nice shisha looks.

It is elegant smoke. Refined smoke. The tobacco is not toxic nor toxically sweet, it is there as an undertone. It is pretty good. The image I get is that of an old man in his 50s having shisha in a dimly lit lounge by himself. A refined gentleman shisha.

Definitely a cold incense, which starts off very un-incense-y. and then it becomes VERY incense-y. You can tell the incense is multifaceted and probably composite of more than one type of incense. Has Arabic frankincense facets too. Olibanum would be my guess. Yes, like an Amouage, but European. A little Decision-y. Very good.

Smokey vanilla pretty much. The smoke has a top and then a mid and base, and they are different. The top is castoreum heavy; the mid and base are both more incense-y than castoreum-y (the castoreum is still there but it moved to the background).

I can see it being a gentleman’s vanilla. The vision is that of a leather lounge: pretty nice, fiery leather. Not couch, but like, ashy and in close proximity to cigarette smoke leather.

Wow. Iris, violet, iris butter, jasmine, powdery notes, florals, milky texture and animalic facets. This is a complex “vintage” scent. It is incredibly complex, and I am sure that the list you just read is a fraction of what actually makes up the fragrance. From smelling it again, I can maybe pick up on peach, aldehydes, earthy notes, maybe some balsams too.

As for a smell, imagine the old armoire at your grandma’s house that held all her nicest clothing - the ones that she would wear to nice events, and perfume them beforehand. With each time she would wear them, she would instill her old-smelling perfumes into them, and safekeeping the smells in that armoire as she put her clothes away; and it is when you open this armoire that you smell this.

I can also see it smelling like the ideal version of an exploration of some old home; specifically the room that is a library. In general, it is damn good so you should smell it.

I would love to compare it to Belle Ame by Les Abstraits.

Additionally, the sillage and projection of this were VERY strong.

I sprayed this on paper and then sprayed it on skin a little later. This was my favorite from the house.

A very lactonic fragrance mainly centered around white florals. It starts off milky but it does turn relatively harsh later on. I do intend to re-smell this, because I feel I rushed it a little.
